Replace waterlines and valves in ceiling in dining room that feed shower also cut out and redo y on vent for tub/shower and new trap
Replace water lines going up dining room wall to second floor bath
Collected 648.50 that’s the actual balance if you include the 124 for previous bill to open up wall. Finished quoted work. Took pictures of the water lines I fixed and the portion of drain line I fixed.
Open wall to give proper estimate. Once opened wall up found a water leaking from the copper line near concrete on slab house. Will need to bust up concrete to fix line till I get good copper to tie back onto. Broken water line in concrete. Also would suggest replacing copper drain line since it’s also right in the same area there’s no way to chip up concrete to save and drain pipe is damaged so it’s recommend so there is no further issues in this area. Gave deposit for work 772.50 and will collect remaining balance when work is done.
Unit has insufficient r22 refrigerant charge and after prolonged run time can freeze up. I went over leak search types, leak repair types and coil replacement costs with the customer. I explained the new EPA regulation that bans any topping off a known leaking r22 system. I am sending the estimates to the customer. Customer also is getting a sales estimate on Friday morning, which was setup through the CSR in the office and myself and the customer.
On arrival found system low on refrigerant which an indication of a leak .also found clogged drain .i added 1 lbs of refrigerant and cleaned drain ..unit is operating normal at this time but could stop anytime due to age and also none matched coil (r22) indoor coil with 410 a condenser .recommended replacing system but customer informed me that he is going to move out soon .

No payment collected.
On arrival checked thermostat was calling for cooling. Measured return temperature, supply temperature, amps, and voltage. Inspected electrical connections, replaced dirty filter provided by customer, blower wheel is clean, and evaporator coil is clean. Found clogged ez trap I cleaned it and poured water through condensate line to make sure it was working properly. Unit is operating normal at this time.
I replaced the filter. The coil and blower wheel are very clean but the cabinet interior develops mold and mildew, which is common but can b3 prevented with ultra violet lights with additional air purification through the Apco air scrubber. I checked temperature rise in first stage heat mode. Temperature rise was good for a heat pump with 35 degree outdoor temperature. Refrigerant pressures also were normal. I forced the defrost cycle and it initiated and completed. I checked the electrical wiring and electrical systems, all are within specification. Including the 3 20 amp auxiliary heat strips. The unit is operating normal.
