I recovered the refrigerant from the system and unsweated the refrigerant lines. I cut to places into the water in and out lines to blow remaining water out. I later used 2 shark bite couplings to reconnect these pipes. I unsweated the water lines and then pulled the coil out from the left side. I installed new hot water generator coil and brazed all connections back in place. I pressurized the refrigerant side with 350psi dry nitrogen which I let hold while I went and fixed one small leak I had in the water line. After I made sure there were no leaks of any type I vacuumed the system into a <500 micron vacuum and charged with new refrigerant to factory specification; 5lb 15oz. I turned the dhw switch to on and bled any air from the internal pump. Unit operating normal. Customer has not been home the entire time I was working. I called dispatcher when finished and they will contact the customer to finalize the invoice.
There is a water leak in the hot generator piping but it is not in a fixable place. The entire desupeheater will have to be replaced. I closed the valves to this line and turned the desuperheater off. The water will stop. I made an estimate to replace this. It is a difficult repair that requires opening the refrigerant circuit. At the time of initial service there was not this much water and I called tech support and they had me check the sensors. Iâ€™m sure the desuperheater has been the source of the water this entire time. With that said the unit was still under performing due to the sensors. Customer had mentioned that the same thing happened last winter and I missed the water leak. I called dispatch and said the customer came home and left here but I feel it is a warranty call. Office will have to verify that.
Replace 2 sensors that are confusing the system. LAT & Suction line sensor. The other day the system was underperforming and not heating to full capacity. After replacing the 2 sensors I recorded operating parameters and checked each one with printed data sheet. Each parameter is within specification. I took a photo of the sheet with the measurements and uploaded to the file. Unit operating normal. However since the unit was under performing as I explained to the customer the loop temperatures are colder than normal. It may take some time to even itself out. Or customer can run the unit on auxiliary heat only for a period of time, but they prefer not to do that. In short there may still be some water around the unit until the loop recovers some lost heat.
The unit is suspected to be greatly overcharged as refrigerant pressures exceeded 600psi without the compressor stopping. A replacement high pressure switch has to be installed. Before recovering the charge an electronic leak search should be done in case there is an underlying reason for why it was overcharged. I placed 2 estimates for leak repair and coil replacement if needed. If no leak is found then the refrigerant needs to be recovered, system vacuumed and recharged to factory specification. All geo piping from the wall to the unit needs to be replaced and pt ports installed at the unit. 3 contactors and 1 capacitor inside the unit need to be replaced. The condensate pump and humidifier need to be replaced. There is a piece of ductwork that connects from the supply to the return plenum and is decreasing airflow to the home. Iâ€™m sure it was installed because I believe the unit oversized for the house. It should be made into a blow out damper and the hole on the return plenum s
Water Furnace tech support condemned LAT sensor and suction line temperature sensor. Customer to follow up with service manager tomorrow. They have the flu and are sick in bed.

Fall pm on 12/06/19 On arrival set unit to call for heat measured supply and return air temp measured voltage and amps inspected electrical connections checked drain checked air filter checked blower motor checked compressor capacitor it was well below spec I suggested to replacing now to avoid future problems I gave quote for customer accepted replaced voltage absorption system rewire start up tested and unit start operating very smoothly without any hesitating or lag measured voltage and amps measured EWP and LWP also water temp checked all other electrical connections unit tested unit operating normal at this time. Collected $95 for voltage absorption repair on C.C
On arrival checked thermostat was calling for cooling. Measured EWT,LWT,EWP,LWP,found unit was very low on pressure, pressurized it to 40psiâ€™s. Measured amps, voltage, inspected electrical connections, filter is clean, and not ready to be changed until next month per customer blower wheel is I Recommend coil cleaning customer and probably the price and gave Alex a call we gave $50 off HVAC repair coupon-clean,evaporator coil Inspected capacitor, contactor, and cleaned condensate drain line. Unit is operating normal at this time. I also recommend UV lamp customer has already ordered one online
Replace marathon 50 gl tank tie onto existing. Add expansion tank and add a pan. Will also connect geothermal connections back in and test operation. I collected the deposit of 1022.00 will collect remaining balance of 1022.00.

Measured amps, voltage, inspected electrical connections, filter is clean, blower wheel is clean,evaporator coil is clean. Inspected capacitor, contactor, and cleaned condensate drain line. Unit is operating normal at this time.
On arrival checked thermostat was calling for cooling. Measured EWT,LWT,EWP,LWP, delta P, delta T. Measured amps, voltage, return, and supply temperature. Inspected electrical connections, contactor, capacitor, blower wheel is clean, evaporator coil is clean, replaced filter provided by customer(20x25x1), and I also cleaned condensate line with a vacuum. Unit is operating normal at this time.
On arrival found unit not operating normal due to a defective capacitor, replace it and unit is perating normal at this time.
On arrival customer was complaining about his electricity bill being too expensive, we connected aid tool to unit and and it did not have any faults. Unit operating normal .
On arrival found fp1 was set to 30 .changed it to 15 .unit operating normal
