Awesome Service Call!
Michael - Perry Hall, MD
I contacted Supreme Air after a problem with my unit which was put in by a competitor. Youssef was the technician they sent out. He diagnosed the problem and explained everything thoroughly. Youssef was both personable and professional! I am happy knowing I now have a reliable company to go with for future A/C issues.
Knowledgeable techs, great response time
Brad - Perry Hall, MD
Compared with other HVAC contractors, Supreme Air techs do a much better job of explaining options and giving an honest assessment of your system. And response time is excellent as well.

Upon my arrival the customer told me the unit had been cooling normally since resetting the system. I operated the unit on second stage cooling mode and had 5psi pressure drop and 12 degrees td across coaxial coil. Electrical systems were within specification. No fault codes displayed on the door board. At the air handler the drain line was running properly. I recorded 20 td across the evaporator coil. Blower motor operating normal. At this time I could find no identifiable problem with the unit. Explained this to customer and asked if in the event the problem comes back to please take a photo of the ther and the cubes door board fault status lights and make a note if the blower was running. And to please call us back.

Upon arrival I found thermostat in off position, customer explained unit was running in ac mode no matter what they asked Thermostat to do. Found thermostat not wired or programmed properly. Customer has boiler as heating unit, attic system is ac only. Had to rewire thermostat for correct operation. Also found jumper for RH and RC still connected, removed because systems are seperate. Changed configuration to hot water heat and conventional ac. Returned power to both boiler and AHU and tested operation. Both heat and ac operating normal. Customer asked me to leave mode off. Since I removed RH and RC jumper, and customer thinks the threw away box, I taped jumper to AHU in attic I’m case it needs to be used in the future.
