I am having a problem with Supreme. They come to do something and I have to call them back immediately to fix something that should have been fixed or noticed the first visit. Of course, I am getting charged for both visits. This is a little frustrating and expensive.
Service call on 12/02/19 On arrival set unit to call for heat no DT checked electrical connections checked voltage and amps checked compressor capacitor checked blower motor checked coil I see oils the coil tube checked pressure and temp and has 0 psi obvious leaks in the system I gave option the customer leak search and I explained what the next option if the coil I gave quote for customer he doesnâ€™t want the repair bc he has estimate from other company so I ask the customer if we gave him the same price he perches from us customer agree I gave quote for $5790 to replace the unit he accepted measured the unit take pictures full up the form customer schedule for this Wednesday 04/19. Collected job deposit $3446.00 On C.C job balance $2344 when the job is done. Option
Up on arrival performed fall maintenance on 11/26/2019. Tested thermostat for operation, tested system for operation. Took delta T. Took readings on all electrical components. Inspected air filter (. 14x25x1. ) clean out drain line . System operating good at this time.
The air handler in the hallway above the restrooms and office does not have control voltage. I traced it back to a faulty 3 pole 50 amp breaker. Customer has an electrician coming to replace it. I offered and took photos of it and the panel but customer declined.
Upon arrival I spoke with customer and she explained that front unit was heating fine but bathrooms and and office area in back are very hot when unit runs. Found return duct at bottom of unit, door is slotted for mechanical room when unit is located but other doors need slots in order for the return air to be pulled from space. Currently unit is dumping in heat and canâ€™t remove the cold air when doors are closed. Customer also asked me to look at unit in the back. She wasnâ€™t sure if it was heat only, also thermostat doesnâ€™t seem to read correct temp of yoga room. Confirmed back unit is heat only. Rewired Thermostat for proper fan operation if they want fan only. Thermostat is on back side of wall, hallway, should be inside of room. Spoke to customer about this and they donâ€™t want thermostat located. Quoting to replace thermostat with Honeywell T6 and temperature sensor for yoga room.
On arrival found system not operating,found system flat on charge .customer getting is getting an estimate for replacement tomorrow
Arrived onsite to inspect units in heat and complete fall maintenance. Inspected all units in heat test mode at tstat. Changed all filters in unit to verify proper air flow. Took temp reading to verify proper delta t. Found all units to be running heat mode properly. Dust on all vent and duct are flex duct really need cleaning. Duct cleaning and vent cleaning recommended
Arrived onsite to inspect unit not heating properly found. Inspected unit in heat test mode found unit to have bad scheduling for tstat. Reset tstat to factory setting unit now running properly. Inspect water heater while on site and found gas valve and igniter to be bad. Needs replacement. Found gas line for water heater to not be installed up to code. Gas line needs drip leg installed.
I lite the pilot and pilot lights up. Stayed around for a bit and heard the hvac unit run a couple times for the exhaust and pilot was still lite after. Gave quotes on replacing control board if pilot goes out again. I donâ€™t see any issue in what was done with vent pipe. The pilot is running the whole time I was here.
Fall PM on 10/30/19 On arrival set unit to called heat measure supply and return air temp measure volts and amps inspect electrical connections checked drain clean drain replaced filter of a new filter operations normal at this time. I gave customer three options of things that was missing in their home on their system we also gave Alex a call to work out some pricing. we gave customer coupons on the three options.

Customer will have to call back once a specialist has removed asbestos ceiling where we will need to cut to identify source of leak.
I was dropping control voltage when I called for cooling. I traced it to the common wire behind the new thermostat. I ended up running common into the new thermostat. I restored power and cooling began operating. I measured 20+ degree delta temperatures across the air coil. I had no need to go onto the roof and the customer needed to leave for work. Unit operating normal. I did get the latch to the roof to close correctly. Need to return to pick up portable ac unit.
Upon arrival we spoke with receptionist and she informed me that she was leaving for managers meetings that she couldnâ€™t avoid. I got her contact info and gave it to the office.
Upon arrival found water heater that is the buffer tank to be old and showing signs of rusting. Recommended replacing before it could cause damage to the hybrid water heater. I also recognized the 1/2 line going up wall pitted and need replacing ASAP. The lines look like it has been leaking from somewhere and caused lines to pit.
Fall pm 9/20/19 upon arrival customer showed me where the equipment is in the home. check geothermal furnace, check for any faults in the system any lockouts everythingâ€˜s normal check all wire connections check water pressure clear drain pan drain line and noticed customer didnâ€™t have a filter his furnace I noticed that the coil dirty. need to be clean I have several recommendations on a new water heater. I went over pricing with Alex just waiting for customer come back to give approval when ready also check to minisplits thatâ€™s really normal and fine with no problems.
Fixed both womenâ€™s bathroom Lavy faucets The drains were leakingSneak out condensate drain for AC pulled toilet in womenâ€™s bathroom and found flange is not screwed to the floor need to make a bunch of noise to actually do that reschedule for tomorrow break in between classes Material used today 1 wax ring 1 set of closet bolts 1 set of white toilet caps
Install 2 new supply ducts to service prep kitchen
On arrival found system operating normal .recommended installing soft start .i installed new one .also advised customer if the problem happens again to call electrician .unit operating normal
Upon arrival we were told that all units werenâ€™t keeping up. During diagnostics we found sandwich prep area and main RTU area thermostats were set on a schedule which increased the indoor temp to 85 degrees at night and they want it to be down to 74 during the day, too large of a temperature drop for how much heat is being produced in building. Turned off schedule for sandwich prep area so it maintains 74 degrees. Changed middle RTU thermostat schedule to increase to 78 instead of 85. Then we found back area by office unit wasnâ€™t running, polarity switched again at AHU? I changed these wires a month ago and now I had to change them back in order to get 208 volts. Once I did so the unit came on and started working. Measured Superheat and subcool at condenser and found unit slightly undercharged, added .5lbs to bring subcool to 10, Superheat 14. Back right prep area unit was about the same, slightly uncharged and we added about .5lbs to bring subcooling to 10 and Superheat to 13. Fin
Service call on 07/08/19 On arrival set units to call for cooling checked indoor unit electrical connections checked voltage and amps no DT I go outdoor condenser unit I checked the unit is gave me error code for both units 92&93 #92 inverter VDC-out under voltage reset the unit checked high voltage electrical connections tested the unit is gave me another error code #93 230VAC under voltage i tray to call carrier tech support is closed so we have to come back tomorrow before 4:30pm to diagnostic the problem of the unit. Customer refused to pay dispatch fee and diagnostic fee unit we tell him the problem.
Upon arrival system operating normal. No noises, proceeded to check all modes of operation for blower motor, still no noise. Amp draw normal on motor and nothing seems out of spec and nothing to interfere with fan to cause noise. Gave quote Incase noise comes back up and customer interested in replacing motor. Customer complained that air filter access has been blocked by recently installed water heater. Gave quote for creating new access for filter on back side of return duct, would have to cut new hole and make new reducer for filter to fit into. Also gave option to upgrade to aprillaire if making new access. Would recommend contacting other company that installed water heater to relocate water heater allowing full access to filter.
Arrival found system was turned off .set unit to Ac .unit came on .found blower showing sign of failure .also system pressures slightly low at 32 degrees .unit is not operating normal.customer informed me that she is not ready to make any decision.unit could freeze again .
Service call on 06/25/19 On arrival set unit to call for cooling measured supply and return air temp measured voltage and amps inspected electrical connections checked air filter is bad condition I take out the filter and run the unit checked condenser unit I found the line set is building ice I cannot put my gauge to check pressure and temp we have to come back after the ice melt down customer schedule for tomorrow 8 to 12 collected $89 for dispatch fee on C.C. I turn off the unit is not running this time.
Upon arrival I went to furnace and checked operation of blower then ac. Somewhat high delta at Evap coil but customer explained of ducts sweating. Opened up furnace panel to find ac thermostat wire connected to Y1 instead of Y/Y2 when you have a single stage ac unit. Airflow increased immediately as soon as I changed wire at furnace control to Y/Y2. Also found airflow dipswitches were set for 350cfm per ton and not 400cfm per ton. On duct it is noted for customer to close main floor damper and open top floor damper. Main Floor is handle is broken and damper is open until replaced. Quoting customer to replace 10x7 damper. Finally when inspecting system I found condenser coil is dirty, quoting customer to clean. After speaking with customer she is going to see how adjustments helped when outdoor temps get hotter because today is nice and mild.
Upon arrival I spoke with manager and he informed me that he didnâ€™t notice any problems. He also said Stanley just left because he couldnâ€™t wait any longer. Went to each thermostat and found them all to be satisfied besides RTU. Went to roof and found circuit 1 frozen. I just added R22 to this system 2 days ago. Per Alex, we added nitrogen to bring pressure up to 300psi. Leak checked with bubble soap and leak detector. We found leak at Evap coil. We are quoting customer to replace coil but they may want to consider replacing, older unit. We went back into space because customer originally complained about High temps in kitchen prep area. We found system struggling to keep up because they only have 2 supplies in entire back kitchen area, per Alex we moved a few to front of store to help supplement RTU. We are going to quote customer to add 2 supply registers to back kitchen area. All other units are operating normally.
